Legal statements

This website and associated services are not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children. We do not request or intentionally collect any sensitive personal data via this website.

This website contains third-party links. Following these links may allow third parties to collect or share data about you, which we have no control over. Please read the associated third party privacy policy.

Data acquired via the website

The website is built with WordPress.org and hosted in highly secure, professionally managed UK data centres. WordPress core software is GDPR compliant and offers functionality to export or remove a user’s personal data. Various WordPress plugins are used to assist with GDPR compliance.

User data can be submitted directly via the contact form, which includes a clear ‘consent’ option, and sends the information provided via email to Jo Fuller.

User data can be collected indirectly via plugins and third party functionality used to track visitors and maintain the security of our site, such as to assist with Google Analytics and GDPR compliance and to add reCAPTCHA on the contact form.

No personally identifiable data is acquired or stored during the general use of this website.

Data acquired via visitor tracking

This website uses Google Analytics to track how users arrive at and click through our website; this data is aggregated and anonymised with the use of additional WordPress plugins, which means no personally identifiable data is acquired or stored. A cookie banner plugin delays Google Analytics visitor tracking until ‘consent’ is obtained.

Aggregated data in Google Analytics includes your browser, device, approximate location (City), approximate time (Hour), where you arrived from, how long you visited https://jofuller.co.uk/, and the content viewed and clicked during your visit. We do not use remarketing or targeting tools.

Our contact form uses reCAPTCHA to prevent spam and bot submissions and improve site security. ReCAPTCHA analyses the user’s IP address, submitted field data, and the user’s previous interactions with reCAPTCHA as well as browser information (such as mouse clicks, typing patterns and Google cookies) to determine whether the user is a real person or a “bot”. Only basic aggregated data from reCAPTCHA is shared with Jo Fuller.

The contact form offers a clear opt-in and a link to this Privacy Policy. We will not use your personal details for any purpose other than to communicate with you directly to fulfil your request or enquiry.

Your details will not be copied, shared or used for marketing purposes unless you give your explicit consent.

If your enquiry does not result in you becoming a Customer or potential customer within a reasonable timescale, your data will be deleted from Jo Fuller data storage within 60 days. You will be considered a potential customer, or contact with ‘legitimate interest’, for a period of 24 months.

Where your data may be sent or stored

Jo Fuller employs highly secure business class website and email hosting services on infrastructure provided by In-Tuition; servers are based in the UK or currently being migrated to a UK-based data centre (from Ireland) as at 30th June 2021.

Our email service comes with appropriate security and anti-spoofing technology and is accessed by Jo Fuller via webmail (not downloaded to personal devices). Email backups are encrypted and may be stored in the cloud.

The website and email hosting is undergoing migration to Amazon Web Services (UK) in 2021. In-Tuition’s own servers and AWS will run concurrently until the migration is complete. All AWS volumes are encrypted.

The backup systems for our website and email services retain data for a maximum of 45 days.

Jo Fuller works with select professional service providers that may access data from time to time, in WordPress admin, databases and emails, to aid or improve the functionality and security of our website and digital communications. Access is subject to additional privacy agreements and all information is treated as strictly confidential.
